Khao Lak in Phang-Nga, Thailand, is recovering well from the damage caused by the Tsunami in December 2005. More than 30 resorts are fully operational again.

Shops, restaurants, and banks are open as Khao Lak's infra- structure remeined widely undamaged.

The land and property prices remain stable and no panic or distress sales have been made after the Tsunami, keeping the property market strong. Some private villas have been rebuilt and are up for sale. High quality development projects such as Saiyoi Hills Residence are under construction.
